If you haven’t been by yet, the dog park inside Rink 3 is open and available during our operating hours. Come and let your canine companions have a leash-free run.

A reminder that all other areas of the park require that your dog be on a leash - even your Very Friendly dog.

Please also note that dogs are not permitted on any sports field (in the city). We’ve installed some city signs to help remind you as we know not everyone was aware of this by-law.

One last reminder: be sure to clean up after your pups whether they are walking in the fields or in the enclosed dog park. Nobody - school kids, sports players, other folks walking their dogs or on a stroll - wants to step in those messes as we’re sure you can appreciate.

With your cooperation we can keep our parks clean and welcome to all.

Update: For the safety and well-being of our community, we have to lock the Rink overnights. We currently do not have any volunteers to open and close the rink on a daily basis. This means that the Off-Leash can only be opened when staff arrive and will be locked before staff leave in the evening.
